Village Fest - Carlo DeMaria

Village Fest - The Ultimate Everett Street Fair

The ultimate Everett Street Fair - Village Fest - is coming to the Village Business District, along Santilli Highway, this Saturday, September 19th, from 3-9 pm.

This festival will feature legendary Jamaican band, The Wailers, as well as some of the area’s top food trucks, beer from Everett’s own Night Shift Brewery, spirits from Short Path Distillery and lawn games for everyone to play. Entry to the festival is FREE and this event will go on rain or shine!

The Wailers are the most legendary band in Jamaican music history. Bob Marley and The Wailers became synonymous with Reggae music, having sold over a quarter of a billion records. Their performance is graciously being sponsored courtesy of Wynn Everett. Also featured on the stage will be local musicians Ripe, Mount Peru, Jalopy, and Rebound.
Some of the area’s best food trucks will be on hand offering everything from lobster rolls to tasty BBQ to mushroom sliders, pizza, pasta, homemade ice cream sandwiches and so much more! Food trucks include Chowda Heads, Cupcake City, Frozen Hoagies, Mediterranean Home Cooking, Munch Mobile, North East of the Border, Pasta Pot, Roving Lunchbox, WOW BBQ and Yumm Bai.

Everett’s own Night Shift Brewing and Short Path Distillery will be on hand complementing the food trucks. Night shift will be pouring over 10 flagship and Oktoberfest beers. There will also be growlers, bottles, and other merchandise for purchase. For the cocktail lovers, Short Path Distillery will be serving their signature gin and white rum, along with other cocktails. Free non-alcoholic drinks will be provided by Polar beverages.

“I have always known that Everett has the potential for great things,” stated Mayor Carlo DeMaria, “Our city is growing and people outside of Everett are starting to really take notice at how much our community has to offer.  Village Fest is a great event to highlight so many of our assets.  We are holding it in the burgeoning niche Village Business District in partnership with amazing local businesses such as Night Shift, Short Path, Skyzone, MetroRock, Teddie Peanut Butter and of course, Wynn Everett.  Village Fest will offer great food, great music, and a great community atmosphere.  I hope people from all over come and visit Everett on Saturday the 19th and share in the excitement and celebration of all that Everett is and is becoming.”

Wynn will be hosting a tent at Village Fest to meet with community members and discuss jobs, vendor opportunities and answer questions related to the five-star Wynn Resort in Everett.

Guests are urged to use public transportation, with a short walk to Village Fest from the Wellington Circle T Station. Free parking will be available courtesy of BNY Mellon in their lot adjacent to the event area, accessible off of Santilli Highway.
